Meet Our Director

Music is fundamental to the human experience. It makes us smarter, it brings us together, it even helps us express ourselves in ways, where words may fail us. Love of music is almost universal among people around the world. The ability to play or sing music beautifully offers benefits for a lifetime. Music stimulates the mind more than any other activity. Music lessons have been shown to help students with: understanding math, language and listening skills, organization, and even social skills. Knoxville Academy of Music has the best faculty. We’ve made substantial investments in our beautiful new facility. Our goal is to provide you an uplifting environment designed to promote creativity, confidence, and enjoyment. Everyone can improve their musical skills. As a life-long musician, composer and music educator, I’ve witnessed thousands of students transform their lives in ways they never imagined possible. We make it our mission to help our students explore and develop their talents, wherever their curiosity and interests lead them. “I’ve never met anyone that regrets learning to play music.” -Jeff Comas Founder & Director Knoxville Academy of Music
